<!-- SC_OFF --><div class="md"><p>I used to love-hate it because it is damn powerful but the UI sucks (a couple of arrows, and a hierarchical structure with everything deep in some list). But recently I realized something huge. Given you can assign 8 knobs and 8 pads, instead of thinking that I am designing a patch, what I realized is that what is going on is the design of the sound AND the design of the panel. Meaning this: You can spend an initial time designing very specific panels, in template patches. For instance, an &quot;Analog synth&quot;, or an &quot;EP&quot;, or &quot;Pads&quot;. Every knob and every pad will be assigned to support that specific function. Now, patch creation can be done with an immediate workflow. You just need to open a template and play around with knobs and pads to edit. Menu diving should be very occasional if you did a good selection of accessible parameters.
