Befaco STMIX - scratching pots - any advise?

Hi there,

I'm looking for advice regarding the scratching of my Befaco STMIX. The scratching began just shortly after I bought it in january this year. At first the scratching wasn't that obvious and so it was tolerable for me but it got successively worse over time. It's only apparent if there is an audio signal going through, without audio everything is ok. Today I tried to get rid of it by fully turning the knobs back and forth for a while and the scratching got better afterwards, but I also noticed that by doing this the pots start to wear out and begin to feel dry and "sandy" (for a lack of a better word) and less smooth and creamy than the other ones. Not that it's really bothering me but I'm worried that if I do that more often the pots will take damage. My question is, wether there is anything I can do to maintain the pots? Are there any care or cleaning products for that purpose that you can recommend? And if so whats the best way to apply them?

Thanks in advance!

submitted by /u/Jazzlike_Fruit_5733
[link] [comments]
