Minilogue xD perceived as cold?

I think I found out why many people perceive it as cold or metallic or harsher than others:

The filter seems to open up further than on any of the synths I have.

When replicating the same sounds over other analogue synths or emulations like diva, the minilogue filter needs to be closed one third to match the moog or arp sound for example.

Any comments on this? I hope I havent raised the blood pressure of some people by using the words "warm" or "cold" with synths Big Grin

So basically it has a wider spectrum and can sou d like this.

submitted by /u/BKLronin
[link] [comments]
