<!-- SC_OFF --><div class="md"><p>If a compressor has a sidechain/detector input, can you instead of audio signals plug in a sequencer gate signal?</p> <p>Specifically: I have a Yamaha GC2020 IIB on loan, and I'd like to try triggering it with one of the drum trigger outs of my Keystation Pro.</p> <p>Am I correct that line level signals, which the comp is used to seeing, are a lower voltage than a gate signal?
