Asking for advice. Modular as an audio processing engine?

Hello everyone, i’ve been thinking about going modular only in the FX, i already have an Ableton based setup with some synths and samplers that i don’t want to replace, i want to build a little fx rack, (5 to 8 modules maybe? idk) and i use a lot the KORG Kaoss pad and i hate it but theres no piece of gear that can do the same (for that price and size), also i want to upgrade the sound quality, i would like to process my stereo signal and add some Glitches , distorsions , delays and what not, also maybe a looper with clock would be nice (the Kaoss has 4 tracks and goes up to 4 bars) what are your opinions on this and what modules do you recommend? thank you very much!

submitted by /u/ferdinandloops
[link] [comments]
