Good beginner sequencer/sampler machines for recording electronic drum set?

<!-- SC_OFF --><div class="md"><p>Drum machines are cool, but are there beginner sequencers/samplers that can record electronic instruments like an alesis drum set? I'm a drummer, so it would be cool to create loops of my own drum beats, then record like synth loops on top of those.
