First Rig / First Jam

Just started building my first Eurorack rig. I've been sort of avoiding taking the plunge for a long time because I knew it was likely to consume all of my free time and attention. And it's true, I literally can't sleep because I can't stop thinking about what modules to get, or how I can patch my existing ones together. It's all very exciting, and I love it so far. I'm already in love with making music this way. I've been using non-modular and semi-modular synths and sequencers for a few years now (Elektron Digitone and Analog Four, Korg Minilogue, Behringer Neutron, and a borrowed Moog Grandmother and Sequential Pro-One) , and I feel like this will really round out my setup. Anyway, here's a little video I made of putting my first modules in and one of first rhythmical patches. Using the Tides and Maths to create a beat through the oscillators, while still allowing me to play on top.

submitted by /u/Formika-Treehouse
[link] [comments]
