Looking for a simple XY(Z) controller

I love live modulation possibilities. Things like mod matrix and V-patch open for a lot of fun. However, most synths only have one mod wheel and a pitch wheel. Maybe aftertouch. I've been looking at kaoss pads and their possibilities, but they seem a bit more expensive and advanced than what I'm looking for. What I want, is a controller of sorts, with vector/variable controls, like touch pads and ribbons. Faders are also cool, but not as immediate. I'd also love for it to be so small that I can just put it on another synth etc.

Which devices are there for me to choose between?

Thanks in advance.

submitted by /u/Bearboza
[link] [comments]
