Can you automate an ending in Yamaha performance mode (say on the MOXF8)?

Apologies if this is the wrong sub.

I play piano for improv shows and am looking for a way to synthesize the sound of a full band (a la Whose Line Is It Anyway). The Yamaha performance modes feel great and full of options, but when it comes time for a song to end… hitting the arpeggio “off” button just abruptly ends everything.

It does so well at transitioning between arpeggio styles, I’d be surprised if there isn’t a way to transition to an outro of some sort. I think of a drum machine that can use a pedal that when clicked initiates an outro on the next measure.

Major love to anyone who can help, and apologies if I’m missing this answer anywhere else. I tried to find it!

submitted by /u/kstebbs
[link] [comments]
