At a loss. Need help!

I setup my dawless setup yesterday and it was working and I was happy and the world was beautiful

This morning, it was acting a fool and I’m sad and the world is bleak

I think it is the op-z just being straight up buggy, but just so I’m sure, how would you set this up! Here’s how I have it.

OP-Z to SP404 via USB SP404 to Microfreak via midi Microfreak to Keystep 32 via midi Keystep 32 to SP404 via midi

OP-Z is the clock. Keystep jumpers set to midi

Channels 1-4 are sp404 banks A-D Channels 5-8 are OP-Z synth engines Channel 16 is the Microfreak

Any assistance is welcome. I’m not going to buy an OP-Z module because I’m getting a more friendly sequencer in the coming weeks.

The op-z settings are a pain. Sp404 is much more clear, but menu advice on both is welcome too!

submitted by /u/mayanrelic
[link] [comments]
