Sequencer Advice

Hello all, i’ve had an octatrack mkll the last two years and really don’t utilize any of its sampling features whatsoever, but heavily use it as a midi sequencer for my setup and as a drum machine.

Last month I got an analog rytm mkll so it now handles all my drum machine needs. My setup is the rytm, octatrack, a eurorack, and i’m about to buy another synth to integrate in my setup.

In regards to downsizing, if all i use the octatrack for is as a clock/midi sequencer, should i just sell it and replace it with an arthur is beat step pro? The BSP seems it can do all the midi sequencing I was doing with the octatrack, but I just wanted to hear some input if this would be a wise move given my setup situation and what I use the octatrack for.

Thank you!

submitted by /u/notvsketch69
[link] [comments]
