Hey. I recently listened to the Hanging Out With Audiophiles-podcast and someone referenced Brian Eno. The gist was something along the lines of “since every producer has pretty much every sound ever available to them, melody and lyrics are what’s going to be crucial from now on”. Has anyone come across Eno saying anything like that? I believe the episode of HOWA was either Tiga or Four Tet.
