Is there any Achilles heel to the Nektar Panorama t6?

From my limited research, if you're looking for a well specked, well priced controller with aftertouch and velocity to use with Reaper then the t4/6 is the best option. In addition to Reaper, I'd also like to use it with Vital on its own.

Is there any hard barrier to using it in Vital on its own? Is there anything about the t4/6 hardware itself that's particularly cheaply made or otherwise drags down the equipment like lacking a feature that can't easily be replaced on the computer end? For example, is there a way to split up the keyboard so different sections play different instruments?
