Why are Polyend Dreadbox Medusas so scarce?

So, i recently have been considering the purchase of either a Dreadbox Typhoon or Nymphes and during my research i came across the Medusa, which looks absolutely unique and amazing! Of course, i soon find out that it was discontinued about a year ago and therefore not available at any retail stores.

So, i head over to Reverb and for the 1st time ever, there are zero Medusas available there! So i go check on ebay and there are zero US sellers and only a 3 or 4 from Japan, most of which seem like shady sellers.

Ive searched many discontinued synths in the past 2 years and this is the first time ive come up completely empty. Is there something im missing here? If this synth is so much in demand that there are zero available in the entire US, then why did they stop making them?
