I’ve been looking into multiple synthesizers (I’ve mainly been looking at moog synthesizers), and reading the descriptions it seems as most of them have around four note polyphony but my 1980s Casio keyboard has 8 note polyphony. This has me wondering why do so many modern, 1,000$ synthesizers have such low polyphony compared to my 45$ Casio from the 80s? Also, pardon me if I I get some terminology wrong I’m a tuba player and know very little on this subject
