Why my Roland TR505 is not MIDI syncing?

Hello! I have a setup un which everything is connected on MIDI channel 1

The setup goes like this Master = Korg SQ1

SQ1 > Boss DR-660 > AKAI MIDI controller > Yamaha synth > Akai Sampler > Emu Proteus > Roland TR505

Everything stay in tempo and start/stop sequences except my 505. Everything is on channel 1, using MIDI thru, but the Roland at the end of the chain remains in its own tempo. From the SQ1 to the Proteus, its all synced. Tempo and sequences work fine

It might a faluty MIDI cable? Am I setting something wrong, like sysex? Or maybe its the 505 MIDI capabilities?
