Uses for Maschine MK3?

Hello, I acquired a Maschine MK3 from a friend, and was wondering how others that have one are using them?

For context, I am not so much interested in recording songs as I am into just doing some live jamming.

Only other hardware I have at the moment is a Yamaha CK88 to pair with it. The Yamaha has a built in digital synth engine, and the Maschine came with some software as well: Monark, Massive, Prism

So wondering how those who pair a Maschine MK3 with their Synths are using them as part of their "jam workflow"? Just trying to get some inspiration of whether it will have a worthwhile place in the studio or if it's something I will resell.
