I have an old Roland SH101 that I usually sync to a drum machine connected to Ableton, but I would like to control the SH101’s CV/gate via midi from Ableton.
I was considering either a 2nd hand Kenton Midi to CV box or a Korg SQ-1.
Which is the best option in terms of functionality to price, and is there a different way to get my SH101 receiving note and trigger information from a DAW?
