Is it wise to keep my Mother 32 plugged in at all times?

I don't yet have a eurorack setup and currently use the Mother 32 more as a desktop module. As such, the only way for me to turn it off would be to unplug it. However, I saw this video on Youtube not too long ago that said it is good to leave an analog synth plugged in and warmed up. Is this true? Will it wear down my Mother 32?
