Recent developments in modules?

Hi all, so it’s been a while I haven’t kept up with new releases. Could you fill me in with respect to modules that came out say in the last 1-2 years that have had a significant impact on the scene, in terms of becoming really popular, or being otherwise, in your estimation, game changing, paradigm shifting, show stopping, or, dare I say, mind altering? Basically module designs of any type that helped move the scene (or your work) forward. Ok, well it’s people that move a scene forward, not equipment, but I just need to get a feel for how things have progressed in the time I haven’t been looking.
