Anyone using two BeatStep Pros?

Just a quick question--if you run the midi out from one BSP to the in on the second and have your remote channel configured right, I figure that changing patterns will send a program change and so the sequencers will cause each other to change (at least, based off my experience where the BSP pattern change also sent a program change to a BS2--what a headache).

However, with the "song mode" where you can designate pattern presets to the sequencer row in control mode--if they are midi'd together, and I switch to a new pattern preset on the first BSP will the second one also switch to the new pattern preset? Or would I need to manually tell each BSP to switch to a pattern preset?
