Question about set-up

Long story short, a dear friend passed away a while back and I was given some of his gear from his girlfriend. Music is a hobby, but I'm more versed in the guitar/bass realm. I love synthesizers and how they sound, but know virtually nothing about them. Now I'm intent on learning the ins and outs of the gear on my own, so my question is more on how to set it up. I was given the following:

  • Arturia MiniBrute
  • Arturia BeatStep Pro
  • Roland JD-Xi

Basically, as a complete newbie, how do I go about setting these up to correlate with one another? Hope this isn't too stupid a question. haha.
