Scarlett Focusrite 2i2 difficulties

Hi there,

I have recently purchased and installed the Focusrite 2i2 audio interface on my MacBook Air.

I am using pro tools first and every time I open pro tools, my audio cuts out from my headphones and wont come back unless I unplug my interface and plug it back in again. This then causes pro tools to close.

This has also happened when trying with Logic and Ableton live lite.

Someone please help!
