Question about connections for a dawless setup (not sure how to phrase this)

Hi everyone,

I am very new to the world of synths and even more clueless about sequencing and syncing. I would like to sync all my equipment together to use it as a dawless setup, because that is just more fun for me. There are a few questions remaining that I am unable to answer with the help of only the manuals, but I feel like they are very basic, so I hope that you guys will be able to help me.

First, here is a list of the equipment I use:

Arturia Keystep 37: Midi In/Out, CV In/Out (Mainly for the Streichfett, but also for the Monologue when I need 64 Steps, maybe to control every synth at the same time if that’s possible)

Korg Monologue: Midi In/out, Sync/CV? In/Out

Arturia Drumbrute: Midi In/Out, Clock/CV? In/Out

Prophet Rev 2: Midi In/Out/Thru, Pedal/CV

Waldorf Streichfett: Midi In/Out

And these are my questions:

1. How can I use the Drumbrute as a Master Clock, without it starting the sequences on other instruments? Is that even possible?
2. If that`s not possible: Is there anything I could use as a master clock (and only that) that I already own?
3. Can I use the Keystep to control the all the Synths (or two of them) at the same time? Can that be done with different Midi channels that send the same information to every instrument? By controlling I mean simply sending notes and maybe velocity information to the synth, not controlling all the filters etc.
4. Which cables do I need for my purposes?
