Novation Circuit Rhythm MIDI Out???

So I am researching this product for purchase and come to find it doesnt do MIDI track sequencing. While this isnt a TOTAL deal breaker, I cant wrap my head around why it would have a MIDI Out connection if it cant sequence. Can anyone explain this to me?
