*Novice Alert* Battery Powered Synth for Travelling

heya! I’ll be hitting the road soon and want to carry a synth for something to do/learn on the road, analog seems pretty cool? I do want to combine recordings of sounds I hear on my travels and incorporate them into the tracks will obvs need a program and recording device etcetc.

What synth would people recommend? (good quality for pretty cheap)
Any recording devices people have found handy?
Which programs are good and user friendly?

Thank you in advanced for helping this noob! ??
