Latch for a Minimoog D?

Does anyone know how a minimoog D could be operated with a sustain pedal or even better a latch? The "V-Trig" input would seem to do the job but then I'm left using modular components to gate a +5v from a switch or pedal. Sadly lacking in electronical skills to get that together.
