DAW-less question: Grand setup or pick and choose ?

In the '90s, it was pretty simple: I had a rack-mount frame on wheels and could carry all of my synths as they were all modules save a Juno-106 and an S-50. Things are now a bit more complicated (Moog semi-modular suite, Digitakt, NTS-1, TD-3, and more coming up to fill up my G.A.S.

I was curious to know if most of you who go DAW-less wire up all your synths to pre-determined shelves space so you "have to have them ALL available at any ANY time" or just pull the ones you feel will be "right for today" ?
