What makes a Bass Synthesizer a... bass synthesizer?

Hi, as the title says, i am wondering what exactly makes a "bass synthesizer".

Im no pro when it comes to synths, i have a few that i mess with but generally dont know what im doing.

I have been looking at the moog minitaur, and wondering whats unique about it that moog labels it a bass synth. I have heard demos and seen the reviews, but i dont think i heard anything that couldnt be made with a normal synth. It has all the same modules and envelopes as any other synth. What makes it more suitable for bass than say the Mother 32?
