Modern synth for Italo Disco / Synthwave

Hi. I imagine this was already asked and discussed here in the past, but I'm wondering what would be a good modern synth for making Italo Disco and Synthwave. Something that can equally do basslines, leads, pads and maybe strings?

I imagine the Deepmind 12 or the Roland X / Xm would be a good option. How about a Peak or a Prologue? Anything from Modal maybe?

What do you guys think? I'm not asking because I am looking to buy a certain synth for a certain genre as that would be silly, just wondering what modern options there are as the vintage ones are getting rarer, more expensive and harder to maintan.
