power issue?

I touched my case and felt a little static shock. Not unusual. Happens anywhere from 2-3 times a week to 2-3 times a day when i touch anything in my office depending on the humidity. Then I noticed any time in plugged, or even touched a patch cable to any input jack I would get weird glitches. Touching a Pam's output would kill all the outputs while leaving Pam running. Touching a Qpas cv input would effect the delay time of the chronoblob right next to it. I think maybe the ground of the power strip I'm plugged into isn't the best? I'm scared of frying any modules
