Deepmind 12 Ipad Connection

Does anyone have experience getting an ipad to connect to the deepmind 12? I have managed to connect it through client mode, connecting it to my router. My desktop app works perfectly but my ipad will only work for a few seconds then will stop controlling the deepmind. The deepmind will show up in settings, but the controls only affect the synth for a few seconds before stopping.

Anyone had this issue? Or could anyone show me their settings so I can see if there's something I'm configuring wrong?
