Drum pad recommendations

<!-- SC_OFF --><div class="md"><p>Hi y’all,</p> <p>My wife used to drum in a band, and recently I started messing around with a reface CS and CP. I’ve done a bit of research into drum machines and samplers, but I don’t really know where to start with electric drums/drum pads. I’ve seen the Roland SPD SX and it looks awesome. I’ve seen a couple of Alesis models that are more in the price range that we’re thinking about, but the reviews are all over the place. Do y’all have any recommendations?
