Modules which process LFOs to create patterns (similar to MD Coherence module)?

<!-- SC_OFF --><div class="md"><p>I'm really drawn to the Metabolic Devices Coherence module, and how it can take any two signals to create wonky gate patterns and pitch CV. The MD website claims this is a new kind of module, but I wonder how unique this kind of processing module is. I have a small case so investing the 16hp (and $389) is intimidating.
