Greetings all,

I currently own 2 external synths (A Moog and an OB-6).

My audio interface is not ideal (it’s the Duet Apogee 3). It only has 2 jack / instrument inputs, 2 outputs and 2 XLR. No midi inputs or outputs at all.

I want to be able to run 2 external synths synced via midi into ableton. And have both of them connected to my audio interface.

Can someone recommend a good (Not too pricey) mixer I could buy to use to connect both synths via midi and audio outputs and then run everything into my duet Apogee 3?

Is it possible to use the USB midi outs from both synths simultaneously? Or is it better to use traditional 5 pin midi cables into a mixer / midi patch bay combo and then route all the audio into my Apogee Duet 3?

submitted by /u/TeddyKeebs
[link] [comments]
