This is not an advert or anything. I just have an interest in FM synths (mainly hardware) but a while back I saw several things (YouTube tutorials about FM synthesis) featuring the Native Instruments FM8 soft synth (VST) and thought it looked really impressive. I had a look at buying it at the time but it was £129 and I just couldn't really justify paying that for something that just looked like "a bit of fun".

But then today something drew my attention to this on Plugin Boutique:

https://www.pluginboutique.com/products/8001

It's kind of hard to believe that something that is normally £129 is selling for £12 (Americans get an even better deal at $10!) but at this kind of "throw away" price (90% off) it's hard not snap it up.

So I just did.

When you do you find that you are eligible for a "two for the price of one" deal as well. So for the money they also threw in a copy of:

https://www.pluginboutique.com/products/7896-Focus-Elements-Bundle

which is supposedly worth £82.80. So for £12 you get £212 worth of software.

Like I say this is not an advert, I am simply a very happy (and frankly a bit astonished!) customer. I suppose it does make up a little bit for the fact that customers in the UK and Europe weren't able to access the recent Opsix deal !!

submitted by /u/wrightflyer1903
[link] [comments]
