I'm sitting here watching Page McConnell crush this Moog One and lead a top tier rock band in a live setting, and I'm wondering, is there anyone else playing live music and breaking ground on the synth these days? I mean live performance, piano-style, EDM excluded. I shouldn't have to go back to Wakeman to find the nearest parallel of someone ripping a synth in a rock context, right? I want to hear more of people using synths to play live improvisational music rather than EDM, it's really a fascinating new world to explore, when there aren't many left in rock.

submitted by /u/uncutpianist
[link] [comments]
