I have two rackbrute 6U's. I hate always haveing to lean really far in to reach the racks. It's a big reason why I default to other synths and use my euorack less than I should be. If I take the sides off, it seems they will perfectly fit into a 19" rack. I've also learned that their big screws are 7M so I have a few of those now to work with in securing custom brackets etc.

I was thinking a bit 16U case between $1-200 and then some brackets that fit or I drill my own holes into. The cases are exactly 19", so I could drill right into the fake wood, but I don't want to ruin that part of them.

Does anyone have any other novel solutions? I don't want to use real rack-mount ears (tip top etc.), because the extra cost just doesn't make sense, given how easy it may be to fit the Arturia cases into a 19" format.

submitted by /u/calltheoperator
[link] [comments]
