I'm wondering if anyone can offer advice.

It's been in my attic for a while - it worked a few years ago and hasn't been touched since. I got it out today and found that the keyboard is not generating sound at all, as in nothing happens when I press the keys.

I've studied the user manual and I'm pretty sure that none of the settings are the problem. The noise generator is working and all the settings affect the white/pink noise. I know the keyboard is not completely broken because the noise "jumps" when I press a key. I have it connected to a speaker through the "output" socket, and that's working fine.

I just can't work out why the keyboard isn't working. I don't think it's dirty keys because that usually only affects some of the keys, rather than all of them.

Anyone have an idea?

submitted by /u/mistress-eve
[link] [comments]
