I want my Neutron to play the same pattern as my TD-3.

So I have CV and Gate out connected respectively to OSC1+2 IN and E-GATE 1 IN. Now everything works fine, the pitch and pattern are played back flawless but it seems the Neutron is playing everything one octave higher than the TD-3.

When I connect them through MIDI they have the same pitch, so it only occurs when using the CV out/in.

I know I can use the octave settings on the oscillators on the Neutron to compensate but I have a setup where I also send other midi data to the neutron so I don't want to use that because I have to keep switching the octaves on the Neutron throughout my set.

I also tried using attenuators to but that requires a lot of finetuning to get the correct pitch.

Any idea on how to fix this? I never dabble in modular synthesis so this is all pretty new to me. Thanks!

submitted by /u/boetboet
[link] [comments]
