Hello! I have a 6U 84HP powered portable case from CaseFromLake. I would like to know what is the optimal way I can power it outside in the woods and record the sound as well.

Right now I am looking at this 2hp module that can power a case via USB-C from a portable charger: https://www.rakits.co.uk/product/go/

They claim the module works well with a 20100mAh Anker portable charger: https://www.amazon.ca/Portable-Charger-Anker-PowerCore-20100mAh/dp/B00X5RV14Y/ref=mp_s_a_1_2?crid=2VP5MAD23MNLC&dchild=1&keywords=anker+power+bank&qid=1633927158&sprefix=Anker+&sr=8-2

Does anyone have experience with this particular portable power setup? Any other recommendations??

On the recording side, I've seen some folks on youtube record onto a portable recorder like a Zoom H4n Pro. It looks like I would go 1/4" outputs of Ooots to XLR inputs on the H4n.

All in all this entire setup is looking to cost upwards of $600 CAD, probably more with the right cables. Are there any cheaper alternatives? Any insight would be much appreciated. I don't mind investing in a solid solution but if I can save some money and still achieve my goal that would be great. Thanks in advance!

submitted by /u/DiscardedAmbience
[link] [comments]
