I already have a Juno-DS and I love it. I've been thinking about getting a JV-1080 for the retro appeal and to have a bunch of new sounds, but without being able to try one in person I'm not sure how much overlap there is. The Juno is a newer product, so it's possible Roland used a bunch of JV-1080 sounds in the Juno. On the other hand, the JV-1080 is a pro product. I just have no idea.

Anyone own both of these synths?

submitted by /u/makhno
[link] [comments]
