Hey everybody, Im building bit by bit an hardware setup for my music production. First buy was the behringer pro1 and an audio interface. Then the hall of fame 2 reverb for a more ambient/ soft sound (wich i like the most making.) Im thinking of buying the elektron model samples for the drums (and samples ofc). And the Arturia beatstep pro as a sequencer. This would be my basic start setup. As for speakers/headphones im going to use headphones, this works the best for the room im making music and for the circumstances. Looking to buy the Beyerdynamic dt 770 pro for that.

Im using logic pro as daw, but wanted to go more dawless, im getting an much better workflow and i get more creative.

My question basically is: Im focussed on producing soundscape, ambient (can be harsh and distorted too, not al soft) ,cinematic like music. Next thing i want to buy is the beatstep pro as a sequencer. Can i record multiple sequences from the behringer pro 1 to the beatstep? I mean like making an live performance on only the behringer pro 1 (for now) using the beatstep? Layering sounds and stuff? Pretty new to the hardware world so please help me

Thanks in advance

submitted by /u/OKAYfy
[link] [comments]
