<!-- SC_OFF --><div class="md"><p>I am wondering if anyone has advice about power sources/ conversions when bringing US gear to the UK/EU. I am traveling abroad with an older <a href="https://gearspace.com/gear/roland/system-500-505-vcf">Roland 505</a>, no indication of voltage in the manual except for a note that says the synth MUST BE GROUNDED. It has a power adaptor that looks like this: <a href="https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61+FPerbvpL._AC_SL1000_.jpg">https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/...AC_SL1000_.jpg</a></p> <p>I was going to just plug it into a grounded powerstrip and then slap an adaptor on that, but then I was told NOT to bring grounded powerstrips.</p> <p>Anyone from the US have experience bringing vintage gear abroad?</p> </div><!-- SC_ON --> submitted by <a href="https://www.reddit.com/user/xanaxmercy"> /u/xanaxmercy </a> <br/> <span><a href="https://www.reddit.com/r/synthesizers/comments/vhifug/traveling_to_eu_uk_with_vintage_roland_groovebox/">[link]</a></span> <span><a href="https://www.reddit.com/r/synthesizers/comments/vhifug/traveling_to_eu_uk_with_vintage_roland_groovebox/">[comments]</a></span>
