I've been trying to change the way I think about sound design as I explore more modular stuff, but I still find myself arranging my rack and patching as if I'm just making subtractive synth leads and such. While they come out awesome, I feel like I could be doing more interesting things with modular, especially since all set on "normal" synths.

So I was thinking of arranging my rack my color. One row of black modules and one row of silver. It would mix them up a bit and perhaps change my patch flow.

Have any of you tried "experimental" rearranging to change your flow or inspire new ideas?

submitted by /u/Polloco
[link] [comments]
