Warps - some detailled questions before ordering

Hello there

So, I want a nice crossfader and... Warps looks pretty damn awesome, tbh! It can do a million things more, it seems and should keep me entertained for quite some time. However, even after watching the tutorials and reading the manual, I can't completely figure out two things:

- in crossfade mode, can I send my VCO to the input 2 and activate the internal VCO of Warps to crossfade between them by modulating timbre? If I send it negative voltage / below 0 from a LFO, will it move "left" in the direction of the first (internal) VCO? Or can I just add to the setting?

- how the heck does FM work with the internal VCO???
