Volca Beats and Berhinger MS-1 clock issue

I've clocked my volca beats to my MS-1 using a cv cable out of the volca beats, and compared to the volca beats the sequences from the MS-1 are in time with the drum sequence but seem far slower, like they're at half speed. Is there anyway to change this? (sorry if this is obvious im new to analogue equipment and im used to syncing using digital synthesizers.)
