Can assimil8or be the center of an idm oriented rack (around 250hp)?

I'm thinking of selling all the drums module I have to buy assimil8or and use it for complex glitchy drums.

One thing I noticed in the modular world is that people always try to advise against deep and expensive modules but advise for solutions which at the end of the day are way more complex than the actual module. So my point is, should I substitute various drums voices for the assimil8or? I would use a combination of tempi. wogglebug, varigate 8+, maths, renè, sequential switch, batumi to modulate the assimil8or. What could be the cons of this idea with the goal of creating richard devine like complex rhythms?
