Questions for those of you with a large number of hardware synths

I have been buying a new synth every 2-3 months and see myself outgrowing my mixer and midi splitter.

How are you doing all your MIDI routing?

  • Are you using a desktop splitter? Rackmount? If so, what sort of issues have you experienced?

How are you handling power?

  • Do you have problems with noise? Should I just get another rack mount power conditioner?

What about audio routing? I'm sure a mixer, but which?

  • What is your preferred method for connecting your synths?

Thanks in advance!
