How to fine tune BPM on Tempest (dave smith)?

I'm trying to sync up my tempest with another drum machine that can't be slaved to it, and the tap-tempo only gets me so close, so I was wondering if anyone knew how to dial in the BPM by less than .5 BPM without using tap-tempo?
